“There’s never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same” – Carlos Santana

When you keep reading the runway trends again and again, your bound to start seeing patterns even if they don’t exist! I’ve been buying Orange long before it became a part of the sunset hues trend. However, I was a little disappointed when I didn’t find those good versions of tangerine orange anywhere. It was only a few days back when I was looking for something to wear to a meeting I got the idea for this particular outfit. The distorted white shirt has also become a trend. Palazzo + white shirts are my all time favorites. tangerine5

Sometimes, I’m not sure of why I choose certain pairings. Like this one! So the dress is an everyday staple but so are the cotton dupatta and nude pumps. Together it’s not so much of an amazing outfit, but truth is this the warmest winter dress I’ve ever owned. The soft warmth of the dupatta and heavy cozy blanket-like feel of the dress felt amazing.

Hope you have a great Sundayold-black-dress7old-black-dress6old-black-dress4old-black-dress2old-black-dress3.old-black-dress1old-black-dress5

I never understood the midi length! It was never all the way down there! Neither was it all the way to the top where it should have been. Always hanging half way through, never hitting a target spot to end!

However, growing up over time, the perception of the skirts change and when you watch some of your favourite bloggers wearing the bright printed midi skirts with stilettos, it makes you want to do the same. The dramatic effect of the flared midi skirt with the bold prints created the look of the fairies. This look does not match up to being a fairy yet amazing in its own whimsical ways.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder, so when your almost American brother is visiting India invites the whole world home, it becomes the awesome excuse for us to host a cousin’s meet up. All the more awesomely perfect is when the cousins agree to meet up for breakfast! On a Sunday! But as a typical Indian agreement of sorts, both parties do not keep their end of the bargain, my brother called them all too early and my cousins turn up too late for breakfast.

so what’s the best option for an outfit when you are the host, technically my mom is but I am her personal assistant 😉 at home, you need something light, won’t hinder ur movement while attending,  and still look like I’m at home and comfortable. what a perfect excuse to wear my yellow dress. The cotton makes it light and breezy, The small red flowers makes it pretty and pleasant, and the yellow makes it a bright and happy.
